When not even double chocolate is enough ! Then I bake, Large Triple Chocolate Muffins
- 1 portion
- Basic recipe – Large Chocolate Muffins!
- 7 oz (200 gr) chopped light 35 % chocolate (I)
- 7 oz (200 gr) melted light 35 % chocolate light (II)
- 2.5 oz (75 gr) butter
Chop the chocolate (I)
Divide the chopped chocolate into some nice, large pieces to sprinkle on top of the muffins before baking.
Gently fold the rest of the chocolate into the batter.
Spray or butter muffin tray, so the muffins won’t stick.
Bake at 350 F degrees in the middle of the oven for 20 to 24 minutes, until a tester poked in center of a muffin comes out dry.
Let the muffins rest in the muffin tray for 15 minutes before transfering them to a wire rack to cool.
In a double boiler melt the chocolate (II) and add butter.
When everything has melted together to smooth, dip the cone of the muffins in chocolate .
Let them rest on the couter for an hour (if you can ) And the chocolate will set into a smooth chocolate coating.
