Basic recipe for fudgy and heavy brownie !

This I have to  stop baking. The «Chocolate monster» in me can not leave it alone and it slips down a few bites to many .:)
This is flat, fudgy and heavy like a brownie should be by my taste.

Enough talk, now it is baking time :)

Make sure eggs are at room temperature.

  • 3.5 oz butter (100 gr )
  • 8 oz chocolate (225 gr)
  • 5.3 oz sugar ( 150 gr)
  • 1 teaspoon  vanilla extract
  • 1.4 oz flour (40 gr)
  • 2 eggs

It is not necessary to use the machine to make this cake. A bowl and wooden spoon is all you need.

Melt the butter in a sauce pan.

When  butter is completely melted add chopped chocolate. Stir until  smooth.

Add  sugar and stir well. Leave sause pan on low heat a few more minutes so the sugar dissolves . Stir constantly.

Pour everything into the bowl and allow to cool for a few minutes.

Add one and one egg and mix well between each addition.

Add vanilla.

At last stir in the flour. It takes a few few minutes to work batter shiny.
Coat a 8″ x 8″ square pan with baking paper and divide batter evenly.

Bake in the lower part in the oven 350 F degree for 30 minutes.

Let the brownie cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transfering on to a wire rack.
You don`t have to remove the baking paper.
