Vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream !

A true classic !
They can be made a day you  just carve for something sweet.  Or do a little extra with the lines and buttercream  decoration, and they suits a party.

Many have even decorated the cupcakes for weddings, christenings and anniversary celebrations. And with so many variations in the paper liners, there is currently no truble to «dress» them up so they fit for every occasion.

Today I show lily tulip cupcakes liners that can be purchased from
Strøssel & Annatar in Sweeden.

Today I have chosen to make
Basic  vanilla cupcakes
It is a good recipe and the cupcakes stay fresh for many days.

To make cupcakes with a nice shape that rises up and does not «float» out,  you have to use a muffin tin.
Tulip liners can not be used without a muffin tin.

In each paper liner pour in  aproxematly 2 tablespoons of the batter.

They bake in the lower part of oven at 180 degrees for about 20 – 25 minutes.

When a cake stick inserted in the center of a cupcake, it should come out clean. It can also be checked by pressing lightly on top of a cupcake, and it should feel like it  «bounce» back.

Let them cool in the muffin tin for 10 minutes before transfering  onto a wire rack .

If you feel like it can be added food color.
Add the gel food color at the last minute of beating the buttercream. Divide the buttercream and make several  batches of different colors.

Today I choose to keep the cream in it`s natural creamy off white color.

I do not recommend to store the buttercream the refrigerator. A cool place like a cold bedroom or basement will preserve the consistency of cream mush better.
